Each year a handful of our local St. Louis non-profit organizations spend the day receiving hundreds of gently used suits and professional attire items collected through the Annual Men’s Wearhouse Suit Drive held in July. On September 12th, our friends from Criminal Justice Ministry, Doorways, Employment Connection, Fathers & Families Support Center, Mission: St. Louis, Transition Center of St. Louis and VA St. Louis came to WIN Warehouse with empty vehicles and broad smiles to celebrate one of our favorite days with us.
All of these non-profits excel in helping disadvantaged clients find employment, including veterans, the homeless, ex-offenders, and at-risk youth. We’ve gotten to experience the confidence change in a person when they put on a suit for the first time and it’s life changing not only for the client but for each person around them as well.
