Ethnos360: Equipping for Ministry

Preparing people for cross-cultural ministry takes dedication, training, and the right resources. Ethnos360 equips missionaries to serve unreached people around the world, and through support from WIN Warehouse, they receive donated supplies that support its campuses, training programs, and daily operations. Here’s a closer look at the work Ethnos360 is doing and the role WIN plays in supporting the nonprofit organization.

Their Mission

Ethnos360, founded in 1942, prepares and supports believers as they share the gospel, translate scripture, and establish local churches around the world. Here’s what makes them unique.

  1. Serving Unreached People Groups: Ethnos360 works among more than 6,000 people groups around the world where there is no church and no ongoing work to establish one.
  2. Learning the Culture and Language: Missionaries learn the culture and language of the people they serve so they can communicate the gospel clearly.
  3. Translating Scriptures: Ethnos360 translates scriptures into local languages so people can study God’s word and grow in their faith.
  4. Teaching the Bible Chronologically: Bible teaching starts at the beginning and goes chronologically, from Genesis to Revelation.
  5. Establishing Indigenous Churches: Ethnos360 works to establish mature local churches with strong leadership, discipleship, and the ability to grow within their own communities.

Ethnos360 Bible Institute

Ethnos360 Bible Institute is an accredited two-year Christian bible college with an emphasis on cross-cultural missions. The institute works to keep education affordable for students preparing for ministry, with a full-time semester costing about $5,500, including tuition, housing, meals, books, and fees.

Students can study on the 10-acre campus in Waukesha, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee, or complete coursework online from home. They can:

  • Join a class.
  • Earn a one-year Biblical Studies Certificate.
  • Receive a two-year Diploma in Biblical Studies.

Ethnos360 Training Center

Ethnos360 Training Center serves as the final piece of preparation for missionaries serving with Ethnos360, equipping students for cross-cultural ministry among unreached people groups worldwide.

Located on a 350-acre campus in the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri, the training center has prepared more than 4,000 missionaries over the last 80 years. Today, alumni serve in more than 30 countries across a wide range of cultures and ministry settings.

Training focuses on four key areas.

  • Christian Living – to depend upon God and seek His strength.
  • Church Planting – to plant a thriving church among the unreached.
  • Culture and Language – to learn language and understand culture.
  • Practical Skills – to support oneself and thrive anywhere.
