Have you found yourself lately with a surplus of unused items eating up space in your warehouse? If this sounds like you, we’re happy to tell you that you can put your extra products to good use by donating them to WIN!
But what sorts of inventory can you donate? This is the burning question we’re here to answer today. Read the questions below to see if any of these apply to you!
Q: Can I donate office supplies?
A: Absolutely! From pens and pencils to new computers, electronics, and even office furniture, we will accept whatever office supplies you decide to donate.
Q: Do 3D printers count, or are they out of the question?
A: Oh, they count, and we’re more than happy to accept them!
Q: Great, but what about appliances, janitorial equipment, and random tools like backhoes?
A: You’d be surprised how many of those items our members are wishing for (yes, that includes backhoes!). These items are perfect for several nonprofit organizations.
Q: What about household items? Will you accept those?
A: You bet! Sewing machines, garden tools, picnic tables, fire extinguishers, fire alarms, cribs, sports equipment, and even heavier equipment like generators, lawn mowers, air compressors, and power washers are fair game. In fact, quite a few of them are some of our most requested items!
Q: Okay, what’s the scoop on hygiene and personal care items? If I had a surplus of these items, would you accept them?
A: Of course! These items are put to good use for homeless services and whenever disaster strikes.
Q: How about clothing for adults and children?
A: Absolutely! We accept new clothing and baby products, including diapers, furniture, and toys.
Q: What if I have a surplus of pet items? Do you accept those?
A: Paws-itively! If you have pet products including litter scoopers, toys, or blankets, you can donate them to us! We know plenty of rescues and shelters that could use them.
Q: Tell me something that I could donate that I wouldn’t think possible.
A: Two words: returned items. Instead of spending time inspecting and repacking your returned inventory, you can donate them to WIN Warehouse and get a full tax deduction, and we’ll find a nonprofit organization that will put your donation to good use!
Q: Are there things that you won’t accept? This is kinda unbelievable!
A: Well, we do have to put limitations somewhere, don’t we? If we had to name three things that give us trouble, it would have to be some used items, perishables, and horse spurs. Oh, and items that requires special disposal are tricky, too. When in doubt, be sure to contact us to see if we will accept your donation!
