For Wherever We Are, Inc.(opens in new tab), creating lasting change starts with making sure people have the support, resources, and stability they need to move forward. The St. Louis nonprofit serves vulnerable community members, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for young black boys.

Their Mission
Wherever We Are is committed to improving outcomes for young black boys and providing safe, stable environments where they can grow and thrive. With four primary goals, the organization strengthens support for vulnerable people throughout the community. They work to:
- Establish and sustain residential programs that offer young black boys safe, nurturing homes with trauma-informed care and long-term support.
- Provide emergency response efforts that deliver food, essential supplies, and care to affected families, elders, and displaced individuals during times of crisis.
- Foster strategic partnerships with nonprofits, local community leaders, and healthcare organizations to provide comprehensive services that address both immediate and long-term needs.
- Offer programming, advocacy, and resources that promote mental wellness and resilience among marginalized populations, particularly young black boys and their communities.
WIN Warehouse’s Impact
