WIN Product Spotlight: Summer Essentials

As temperatures rise, staying cool is only part of the equation. For many organizations, summer also brings increased demand for hydration, airflow, and more functional spaces. Our catalog at WIN Warehouse includes practical items that support these everyday needs.

WIN’s Summer Essentials

Whether preparing a facility for warmer weather or supporting outdoor programs and events, organizations can find products at WIN Warehouse that help staff, volunteers, and visitors stay comfortable all season long.

  • Hydration: Keeping people hydrated is one of the biggest priorities. Water coolers and electronic water dispensers make it easy to provide drinking water, especially in high-traffic environments and program sites without drinking fountains.
  • Airflow: Maintaining good airflow is just as important. Blowers and air movers improve air circulation in warehouses, workshops, and other facilities to create more comfortable indoor working environments.
  • Outdoors: Summer brings more opportunities to serve people outdoors. Portable coolers and beverage-related equipment keep beverages cold during events, programs, and community distributions.

Featured WIN Warehouse Members

Our nonprofit members save money on the resources they need. Below, we’re featuring two members that purchased portable coolers and beverage dispensers for their summer camps.

The Little Bit Foundation

Established in 2001, The Little Bit Foundation breaks down barriers to learning for under-resourced students. Through in-school programming that extends from preschool through high school, the organization addresses basic needs, provides health education and intervention, and expands academic and career opportunities.

Its programs help students overcome challenges such as food insecurity, undiagnosed health conditions, lack of winter clothing, limited access to hygiene products, and a lack of books at home. The nonprofit also helps prepare students for the future with STEM curriculum and career planning.

Harambee Youth Training

Harambee Youth Training, which opened in 1996, partners with many local churches, businesses, and organizations. Using a combination of volunteer community service projects and classroom training, they give at-risk urban youth the opportunity to gain personal character development and profitable skills in the construction trades.

Teens have worked in landscaping, general property maintenance, roofing, painting, tuckpointing, and framing. These projects provide valuable assistance to the elderly, widows, single-parent households, immigrants, and the poor.
