Their Mission
Founded in 2002, KidSmart provides free educational resources and distributes free school supplies to students in need. Donations from individuals and businesses supply everything from crayons, colored pencils, markers, glue, loose-leaf paper, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, backpacks, scissors, and pens to promotional items and much more. To date, KidSmart has distributed over $85 million in free school supplies!

- Push for Pencils, Push for Change – the largest back-to-school supply drive in Missouri. Brand-new school supplies are collected at their community drop-off locations.
- Crafts With Conviction – a program in partnership with the Missouri Department of Corrections in which offenders donate 500,000+ hours of their time to create educational and learning materials for students.
- KidSmart on the Go! – a truck that takes KidSmart’s services on the road and to classrooms.
- KidSmart Free Store – the only free educational supply store in Missouri.
- Annual Giving Club – members give a box of free school supplies to a local classroom in need.
- Head of the Class – an exclusive donor circle at $1,000 and higher. Members receive invitations to various exclusive events throughout the year.
